How to Guarantee Your New Bracelet is Going to Fit

Bracelets can be tricky items to buy online.  The size and shape of a bracelet are just as important to fitting correctly as the length. There are a few simple steps you can take to ensure that your new bracelet will fit perfectly.

Know your wrist size.  Do you know yours?  If not, here is how to find out.  Get a soft flexible tape measure  like tailors use.  Wrap that around your wrist and you will have you wrist size.  If you do not have a tape measure handy, just use a string.  Wrap the string around your wrist and then measure the length.  That will give you your wrist size as well.

Now that you know your wrist size, let's get to know the bracelet you are looking at purchasing.

There are two determining factors in regards to bracelet size; length & girth.  Just because a bracelet measures 8", does not mean it will fit an 8" wrist.  If the band of the bracelet is as thick as a banana, the actual wrist size it will fit will be quite small.  Imagine taking that banana and forming a circle with(touching end to end).  The hole will be quite small.  So if you are looking at a bracelet that is big and chunky, the length will not be the measurement you want to use.

We give two measurements for our bracelets.  The first is overall length.  The second is what size wrist the bracelet will fit.  We use a bracelet mandrel to determine this.  If you know your wrist size, that is the best measurement to use.  A bracelet mandrel is just like a ring mandrel.  We put the bracelet over it and it gives us what size wrist it will fit.

If you used this information and were still not able to find the perfect fit, no worries.  BeSparkledAgain takes returns.  Just send it back and continue your search for the perfect bracelet that fits you just right. For more queries, please visit Used Diamond Jewelry.
